MILLE PERSONE ATTORNO E IN TORNO

MILLE PERSONE ATTORNO E IN TORNO is a publication conceived by Domingo Milella on the occasion of the exhibition Fuori dall’ombra (Campo aperto, 2025). The twenty photographs gathered in this poster–booklet, taken between 2014 and 2016, mark a moment of transition in the artist’s research. MILLE PERSONE ATTORNO E IN TORNO is an archive of possibilities: a heterogeneous constellation in which Milella, as in an interlude, allows the first sparks of the investigations that, over the following decade, would lead him toward prehistory and the origins of art, and eventually to pure abstraction, to emerge. These photographs bear witness to a shift in perspective, moving the focus of the artist’s inquiry from an archaeology of landscape to a deeper archaeology of vision.
